CBL take Takeuchi dealer of the year award for 2012

Having enjoyed a very successful 2012 right across the product range, the Takeuchi dealer of the year for 2012 is CBL, Takeuchi’s dealer across the South England.

CBL operates out of 7 depots across Southern England, spearheaded from its headquarters located in Southampton and employing approximately 130 staff. Since taking on the Takeuchi dealership in 2005, the company has never looked back. The popular red and grey machines are well liked by owners and end users across the country and have proven to be a great addition to CBL’s portfolio of products. CBL, through its network of branches, provides the local level of sales and support that is necessary to support the Takeuchi brand. 

The company have invested in a new dedicated parts facility for the whole group, extensive service and product training. Throughout the year, CBL had major marketing campaigns, including a number of their ever popular Dig Days events, where customers can test drive the products in a working environment; all contributing to a very successful 2012.

CBL have had major success with the TB016 canopy, in fact they sell more of this model than anything else and CBL put this success down to proven utilities performance of the popular 1.5 tonne excavator. CBL have successfully introduced the new TB285 into the region, with many upgrading from 7.5 to the new model.

Commenting on the award, Tamaru Tomonori, Managing Director of Takeuchi Mfg UK Ltd said,  “As Takeuchi dealer since 2005, CBL has continued to grow the Takeuchi name right across the South. In 2012 CBL excelled in their levels of dealer support and backup up to the increasing numbers of Takeuchi machines now operating in the region.”

CBL continues to expand sales year on year, with some large scale orders delivered to customers including, WH Bond, L Lynch, Acorn, Ford Civils, Witney Plant, Wessex Water and MJ Church.
