Doosan dealer Promac Solutions has bagged a £2m order from Lynch Plant Hire.

A major part of order comprises the new Doosan DX300LC-3, DX340LC-3 and DX380LC-3 Stage IIIB compliant large crawler excavators from 30- to 38-tonne, as well as smaller crawler and wheeled excavators including the new DX140LC-3 and DX160LC-3 Stage IIIB compliant crawler excavators recently launched by Doosan in the UK.

Merrill Lynch, operations director at Lynch, said: “Our company mission is ‘Meeting Hire Demands’ and with this latest order from Doosan, we are focusing on new requirements laid down by our customers for Stage IIIB machines for projects such as Crossrail and the legacy works after the 2012 Olympics, which will form the bulk of over £12m of purchases in the next 12 months to meet this need.
