Ken McKeating has been the National Sales Manager for Marubeni Komatsu Finance for a number of years now. During a recent holiday in Cyprus Ken came across this Komatsu motor grader whilst on a trip up to the Troodos Mountains.

This machine looks to have undergone a paint re-spray at some point and has no model identification markings on it. Komatsu motor graders are very rare in the UK, I don't recall ever seeing one in the flesh so it's a real treat to see these photos, next time I visit Cyprus myself I will look out for this machine on my travels.

Another classic old machine I would like to see on my next visit to Cyprus would be fellow Classic Machinery Forum member Mervyn Rowes big old Komatsu D475A dozer which he sold to a customer on the island last year.

These photos show the machine at home in Ireland prior to it being transported to sunnier climes. Just love the second shot as she belches out black smoke on powering up!

On a recent holiday to Malta my good friends and Digger blog readers Bob & Carole Railson spotted this Takeuchi TB145 mini excavator which looks like it's had a bit of a hard life!

The machine which had been performing hammer work was parked up in Barraka Gardens in Valleta.

Don't forget if you see something interesting on the digger front while you are on holiday we would love to see it here on the blog. Just drop me an email at the usual address.
