Unic Cranes Europe’s CEO Graeme Riley comments, “The Bauma show is the perfect opportunity for us to launch something special like this brand new mini crane model and see the industry’s reaction to it. We’re keeping it top secret for now but I’m sure it will attract a lot of attention on our stand this year. Watch this space!”

Talking of "space" below is a Unic URW-706 mini spider crane,  which was used for installing glass panels on the top floors of the Shard. The crane was dismantles into two and lifted by a tower crane onto the 87th floor of the building, a height of 283 meters. It is the highest ever use of compact crane in Britain.
