Hawk held its family fun day at the company's training ground in Sandford near Whitchurch.

Attractions included machine challenges, dump truck rides, stunt bike displays from display team Broke FMX, a machine simulator, face painting and bouncy castles.

The free event was Hawk’s way of giving something back to the local community and to give the opportunity to show off the facilities at its training ground. Hawk also hopes to encourage children to get interested in the construction industry as a future career. 

More than 1500 people attended the event and, following positive feedback, Hawk is now planning on making it an annual event.
