Crossrail names five for Paddington station shortlist

They are:

• Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall and Vinci joint venture
• BAM Nuttall, Ferrovial Agroman and Kier Construction
• Carillion Construction
• Costain Skanska joint venture
• Laing O’Rourke and Strabag joint venture

Work is scheduled to start in October 2011 and be completed by early 2017.

Crossrail said that it is still assessing pre-qualification submissions for the Farringdon station contract. The shortlist for this will be announced in due course.
