The scheme is the first phase of the redevelopment of the former BBC Woodlands site in West London.
ISG will create studio accommodation for 606 postgraduate students across four separate, nine-storey concrete frame blocks on the site as well as three residential, three-storey timber frame structures. Designed to achieve a BREEAM excellent rating, the student development includes roof mounted photo voltaic cells and a CHP system.
The project begins this week, with completion scheduled for summer 2012.
Over the past 10 years, ISG has worked on 35 projects for the university, with a combined value of more than £92m.
