£1.6 million investment at Somerset structural steel firm
Monday 20th August 2012 saw the culmination of years of investment at William Haley Engineering, when Tessa Munt MP for Wells (Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Vince Cable), opened the state of the art manufacturing facility.
Bill Haley, MD and business owner of Haley Engineering says ‘Over the years Haley Engineering’s philosophy has been to invest in the company. We believe this now puts us in a prime position to service the requirements of Hinkley Point C.’
The Opening Ceremony was attended by representatives from EDF Energy, Sedgemoor Council, Somerset Council, Main Contractors and partnering companies from Somerset.
Factory tours were followed by a Pig Roast for guests and staff alike.
