Customers can now select and reserve machines online from AFI’s website, and check ‘live’ availability to ensure that reservations can be fulfilled. A ‘live chat’ function is available for any queries.
New customers can open a trading account online, while existing account holders can register with the new service by creating a secure username and password.
AFI director Nick Selley said: “We believe that many of the features we’ve included are a first in the UK for a powered access hire company. This includes simple functions such as order history, which is offered by most online retailers. We recently had feedback from our customers that they would welcome a simple and easy to use online service, so we worked quickly to make it happen.”
