The Minimix service, launched in 2003, provides smaller loads of concrete to construction sites.

Aggregate Industries, part of LafargeHolcim, has seen demand for the service develop since its launch in 2003. With the five new DAF vehicles, it now has a fleet of 54 Minimix concrete trucks.

Simon Wycherley, general manager at Aggregate Industries Concrete South, said: “We are committed to ensuring the right solution to all of our customer’s needs and this means that we will continue to grow our Minimix fleet across the UK, while ensuring the same seamless, second to none customer service.”
