Bechtel turnover rises to $32.9bn

15 Apr 12 Bechtel Corporation has announced its business results for 2011, including revenue of US$32.9bn (£20.7bn), up 18% from the previous year.

New contract awards totalled US$53bn, more than double 2010 performance.  Bechtel ended the year with project backlog of US$104bn.

Initiatives included launching a programme in Australia to hire 400 adult apprentices for its LNG projects on Curtis Island.
