BESA elects new president

12 Jul 16 Malcolm Thomson has been elected president of the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) for 2016/17.

Mr Thomson is the founder of Enigma Environmental Services, which provides a range of cooling and associated building engineering services. He is also co-owner of Kelvin Ross Engineering, which specialises in marine air conditioning.

He takes over as BESA president from Jim Marner of Interserve Engineering.

Tim Hopkinson of Hargreaves Ductwork is the new president elect and Giuseppe Borgese of Bouygues E&S FM UK is now vice president.
