EC Harris expands with HK acquisition

4 Mar 14 EC Harris parent company Arcadis has bought project management firm inProjects, which has its headquarters in Hong Kong.

InProjects generated net revenues of €11m in 2013 and employs about 200 people across its network of offices in Hong Kong, China, Macau, Singapore and India. It will become part of EC Harris.

InProjects provides project management services in the retail, hotel, hospitality and leisure sectors to clients including Adidas, Reebok, Swarovski, Citibank, Apple, Starbucks, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Cathay Pacific and Qantas.

Stephanie Hottenhuis, the Arcadis executive board member responsible for Asia said: "This deal clearly reflects our strategy to build and strengthen our leadership position in project management."

Today Arcadis has over 4,000 people across Asia working for Arcadis, EC Harris, multi-disciplinary cost management consultancy Langdon & Seah and architecture and design firm RTKL. Arcadis and inProjects have been long-term strategic alliance partners for a number of years, delivering project management services across the region.

The merger involves both inProjects and Genesis Solutions, and inProjects said that both brands will continue to exist and operate as part of the wider EC Harris business in Asia.
