GHC offers solar roofs for big sheds
Cheshire-based construction company Graham Heath Construction (GHC) is working with specialist commercial energy consultant The Mikhno Group to provide the option of solar panels on the big sheds that it builds.
GHC specialises in steel-framed buildings for the industrial and agricultural sectors, such as factories, warehouses and barns. In cooperation with The Mikhno Group, GHC is now offering rooftop photovoltaic (PV) solar panels as part of the construction process to provide customers with electricity and potential extra income.
GHC general manager Paul Hanson said: “We believe that the construction of our buildings and renewable energy solutions go hand-in-hand. We will continue to manufacture buildings of the highest-quality but with the additional benefits provided by a green energy solution. Renewable energy will play an increasingly important role in the sustainability of UK industry and we want to ensure that solar energy is accessible to this important market.”
