Neil McMullen joins Gleeds from Currie & Brown where he was as regional director.

At Gleeds he will seek to provide advice to the National Health Service on best practice and cost control for its construction work.

Neil McMullen is on the Department of Health’s ProCure 22 (previously P21+) financial and commercial working group, representing the interests of NHS trusts. He has also provided the Department of Health’s P21+ and NEC contract training programme and has been a consultee for NHS guidance and publications, such as the Healthcare Premises Cost Guides.

His new position will involve leading Gleeds’ healthcare partnering frameworks and developing the health professional team.  He is based at the company’s Southampton office.

“I am really excited to be joining Gleeds and working alongside its head of healthcare, Roger Pulham,” he said. “The company has built a reputation for delivering exceptional services to health sector clients and I look forward to working with the team to build on this success and grow our service offering across the country.”

Gleeds Worldwide chairman Richard Steer added: “Neil’s understanding and experience of ProCure22 makes him an invaluable addition to our team and only further contributes to our development strategy within the sector”.
