The three-year contract will go live on 1 April, with an option to extend for a further three years. It will see Interserve delivering a range of services including planned and reactive building maintenance, cleaning, asset management and support for diplomatic events.
The new contract adds to Interserve’s existing seven-year contract providing facilities management services across the FCO’s UK estate and 14 diplomatic missions in Europe as well as delivering cleaning in Spain.
Nick Goodridge, managing director - defence at Interserve, said: “We continue to successfully develop our service, performance and relationship with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. This is testament to the hard work of the Interserve FCO team during 2013 and will contribute towards the further expansion of our service delivery across Europe."
