ISG tops BCLive table for August

3 Sep 15 ISG has topped the Builders’ Conference BCLive league table for August 2015, winning a haul of 15 contracts worth £150m in total.

The largest of these was for an office extension at 20 Old Bailey in London, which is valued at £55 million. ISG’s monthly tally was further boosted by a £44m fit-out contract at Imperial College London.

Education-based contract awards were also partly responsible for Willmott Dixon’s second place in the monthly league table. It won 16 contracts worth a combined £130.3m, including a £30m contract to build Kingston University a new library, dance studio and auditorium.

Carillion took third position with 14 contracts totalling £125.3m. A newcomer to the BCLive Top 10, GMI Construction, claimed fourth position, thanks to a single £100m mixed-use development contract for Scarborough Group International in Leeds.

The Top 50 in the BCLive league collectively booked nearly £2.57bn during August, of which £1.05bn was in the housing sector and £477m in education.

The full table will be in the September issue of The Construction Index magazine, which will be out next week.
