ISG will refurbish the 102,000 sq ft building at 400 South Oak Way from its current shell and core state, delivering high-specification, BREEAM Excellent office accommodation. The building was originally constructed in 2002 and is in Green Park, which is owned and managed by Oxford Properties and is home to more than 50 businesses.

In addition to a comprehensive mechanical and electrical services infrastructure upgrade, ISG will update five lift lobbies and modernise the building’s atrium. Externally, photovoltaic panels will be installed and extensive hard and soft landscaping works undertaken, with cycle paths and cycle storage added, along with additional parking and improved external lighting.

The contract follows ISG’s recent refit of nearby 450 South Oak Way, which is now occupied by PepsiCo.

ISG divisional director Graeme White said: “As the Thames Valley continues to carve out a reputation as the business destination of choice for major domestic and international blue chip organisations, property investors are responding by upgrading existing assets to extremely high standards.

“ISG, from its Reading base, brings unrivalled London office credentials to this highly-dynamic and demanding market. We’ve forged excellent links with the property investment community and local supply chain partners and we are seeing increasing demand for our expertise and in-depth sector knowledge.”
