JLL expands fit-out operations with Bluu takeover

7 Aug 15 US surveyor Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has acquired UK fit-out specialist Bluu.

JLL will merge Bluu with its own Tétris design and fit-out business, which it acquired in 2007. The 30 UK employees of Tétris will move into Bluu’s new offices in London's West End later this year. After a transitional period, Bluu will move fully under the Tétris brand next year.

With Bluu’s own 120-strong team, the combination will create the UK’s clear market leader, JLL said.

JLL UK chief executive Guy Grainger said: “This is an exciting and mutually beneficial combination. We will be able to draw on the strengths of our global scale operation and Bluu’s 15 years’ heritage and leading position in the UK to provide an unmatched design and fit-out service across the UK.”

Tétris UK managing director Richard Harris added: “We have long admired and respected Bluu and I am thrilled that we can now call them colleagues.”
