Kier lined up for £100m Powys maintenance deal
Kier has been selected as the preferred bidder for a 10-year housing maintenance contract with Powys County Council worth £100m.
Under the contract, Kier will provide various property-related services, including housing maintenance, across council housing and other public and commercial buildings.
Powys County Council has a commitment to bring all its housing stock up to Welsh Housing Quality Standard, which requires major improvement works.
In a trading update, Kier said that it remains on course to meet expectations for the current financial year "despite increased economic uncertainty in the UK following the EU referendum".
