According to LHC, the framework will give timber product manufacturers and suppliers the chance to bid for a share of the millions spent by public sector bodies in this area.
The notices will be published during the week beginning 21 January. Interested companies will have 37 days to download the pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) from LHC’s website and return it completed.
“National and local suppliers who are appointed will be exposed to a huge range of public sector authorities, which can buy from them safe in the knowledge that they are compliant with OJEU and UK regulations,” said LHC director John Skivington.
Last year £21m was spent on window and door products through LHC.
There will be two contract notices: one for England and Wales and one for Scotland.
