Tom Nicholson has been promoted to divisional chairman, East; Andrew Hammond becomes divisional chairman, West. Both are newly created positions.

Tom Nicholson joined the company in 1996 and was previously divisional managing director, East. Andrew Hammond joined Linden Homes in April 2015 and was previously divisional managing director, West.

Galliford Try chief executive Peter Truscott said: “Linden Homes has been moving towards a more streamlined business model for some time with a view to making the company more efficient and better able to provide our customers with the high standard of quality homes that they want.

“To support this strategy, the promotions of Tom and Andrew will allow us to capitalise on their many years of experience, increasing our focus on operational excellence and driving our growth strategy in housebuilding which is centred on simplification, standardised processes and devolved responsibility.

“I’m delighted to welcome both Tom and Andrew to the group executive board and wish them all the best in their exciting yet challenging new roles.”
