Man City to host construction buyers’ day

A Constructionline ‘meet the buyer’ event is being held at Manchester City Football Club’s Etihad Stadium on 29th September 2016

The event is designed to bring together construction clients and tier-one contractors with regional subcontractors and suppliers in what the organisers call ‘a speed dating scenario’.

Client organisations signed up to attend the event include Kier Housing, NHS London Procurement Partnership, Wates Construction and Highways England, all looking to source suppliers for current and future projects.

There is also a seminar programme where clients including Kier and NHS London Procurement Partnership will give advice on what suppliers need to do and what accreditations are needed in order to join their supply chain.

The event is open to all suppliers and free of charge to Constructionline members.

Constructionline account manager Olga Gough said: “Our Meet the Buyer events are always hugely rewarding.  They are essentially what Constructionline is all about – removing barriers and helping clients and suppliers build successful and profitable relationships with speed and efficiency.”

The Manchester Meet the Buyer event runs from 8.30am to 2.00pm on 29th September 2016.  For more information and to register, go to www.constructionline.co.uk.
