The A-Plant subsidiary is adding to its inventory of Mammut formwork components manufactured by Meva of Germany.

Leada Acrow is already the largest supplier of Meva products in the UK hire market. This latest order comprises fractional panels and striking corners used as Mammut formwork and Meva guided climbing systems (MGC) for stair and lift shaft construction.

Leada Acrow director Barry Furlong said: “This latest investment reflects the high customer demand for our Mammut formwork systems. Our customers have recognised the many benefits of using Mammut formwork on-site, in terms of efficiency, cost savings and the finish achieved. High pours can be carried out rapidly on very large structures and the end result is a superior concrete finish.”

He added: “Mammut panels are the pioneers of the industry – they symbolise the breakthrough of modular panel systems into civil and industrial engineering. The original Mammut was the first system ever to make large-scale pours possible, saving time and money. Its successor system Mammut 350 set the industry's benchmark with its 100 kN/m² concrete load capacity throughout the system. With its all-plastic alkus facing and its symmetrical tie-hole and joint imprint, Mammut 350 has become the leading formwork system for achieving architectural finishes in civil engineering, commercial and residential construction.”
