New crawler-mounted boom lift joins Omme Lift range

13 Feb 14 Omme Lift is expanding its product range with a new lightweight 42m hybrid tracked boom lift.

Shipping will start this summer of the 4200 RBDJ, which is the Danish company’s largest crawler-mounted boom to date. The seven-section telescopic boom is designed to provide a stable maximum working height of 42m and an outreach of up to 15.2m, with a 130° articulating jib for precision positioning.

The boom can be raised and extended simultaneously, saving time in reaching the required height time. Auto-levelling outrigger deployment and retraction is a standard feature.

Omme has equipped the new model with a diesel/battery hybrid drive train to suit working in outdoor and indoor environments. The 400Ah battery pack - which is automatically recharged whenever the diesel engine is deployed – has been designed to eliminate ‘voltage drop’ issues.

The 4200 RBDJ has a two-gear crawler undercarriage with a crawler chassis designed to traverse hilly or uneven terrain and disperse the machine's ground pressure when travelling on delicate surfaces. The machine has been sized to enable access into confined spaces, with a stowed height of less than 2m and length of 8.9m. The basket is easily detachable, delivering a travel length of 8.3m.
