The E385C crawler excavator weighs in at 38.3t and has a 213kW engine. The larger E485C has an operating weight of 51.1t and offers a net flywheel power of 271kW.

On both machines, the new engines use cooled exhaust gas recirculation (CEGR) technology to meet the latest emissions standards.

New features include an upgraded New Holland advanced electronic processor (AEP), with the introduction of a new Eco working mode, to reduce fuel consumption.
