Stuart Parker, who has been the business development director for Morgan Sindall’s construction business in Scotland since 2015, is taking over from current managing director Harry Thorburn, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Before joining the senior management team in Scotland, Stuart Parker spent six years with Morgan Sindall Professional Services (now BakerHicks), the company’s design and engineering division. During his time there he had operational responsibility for Scotland, in addition to being national business development director.
Morgan Sindall Construction managing director Pat Boyle said: “I am incredibly pleased that we have been able to recognise the talent and ambition we have in our business by appointing an internal successor to this key position.
