The BRE Trust owns the BRE and has the role of the 12-strong team of sector representatives that constitute its board is to ensure it maintains its relevance to the issues faced by the building industry.
BRE Trust chairman James Wates has announced the appointment new trustees. These are: Ash Pocock, head of industry, regulation and external affairs at EDF Energy; Ashley Wheaton, chief executive of the College of Estate Management; Francesca Berriman, chief executive of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists; and Nick Jennings, chief scientific adviser to the UK government on national security and computer science professor at the University of Southampton.
