Pryor operates a fleet of 50 machines from its Harlow headquarters. Commenting on the choice of Doosan, plant director Michael Munn said: “We recently had excellent experience with a hired-in Doosan machine at one of our quarry operations and this experience, coupled with good reports we have received from several sources including our own service engineers who really like the access to all key components, led us to the decision to give the brand a try.”

The DX420LC has been supplied in mass excavation specification with Power Latch hydraulic coupler and 3.2 cubic metre Miller Scoop bucket. Safety equipment includes handrails and cab guards.

The DX420LC is powered by a six-cylinder Doosan DV11 diesel engine developing 218 kW (293 hp) @ 1800 rpm. Maximum digging depth is 7.73m and reach is 11.49m.
