Reporting directly to Jeff Wright, sales director at Shawtrack, Ray will be responsible for developing relationships with existing and new customers' in the plant and access equipment hire business. Jeff wright said "Ray is a good team member and we are delighted to have him on-board.”
Wright continued, “Part of Ray's remit, is to be working much closer with the many franchised UK dealer networks, rather than against them. He will also be promoting the ShawHire side of the business to generate new plant truck hire business".
With over 25 years’ experience within the commercial vehicle industry, Doncaster has joined Shawtrack having previously been employed by Isuzu Truck UK Ltd where he spent three years as an area sales manager and collected the Isuzu Truck UK sales target achievement award of Samurai for three consecutive years.
Prior to this role, he spent 15 years running a commercial vehicle workshop and commercial sales operation and also worked for a large Iveco dealership in Guildford as their Heavy Truck sales manager - achieving the coveted Iveco "Top 100 Salesman in the World Award" in 1990.
On his appointment with Shawtrack, Doncaster said, “Without doubt Shawtrack is recognised within the industry as a forward thinking company and the future growth potential for the company in the plant and access equipment transporter industry, attracted me to this newly created position.”
