The new owner is Newpark Mats & Integrated Services (NMIS), a unit of Houston-based Newpark Resources that provides ground protection products.
Oxfordshire-based Terrafirma has been the exclusive UK distributor of Newpark’s composite mat system since 2006.
“This acquisition represents the natural culmination of what was already a longstanding and mutually beneficial partnership between our two companies,” said NMIS president Jeff Juergens.
