Excavator becomes a bargain basement machine
One of our Turkish readers has sent in this shocking photo, which features yet another demolition accident.
The operator of this Hyundai 210LC-7 must have had the shock of his life whilst performing hammer work on a demolition site in Trabzon in Turkey. In an all too familiar scenario in the demolition sector, the 21 ton machine has gone through the collapsed floor of the building and fallen into the basement of the structure.
The machine is seen here in the early stages of recovery by crane. One wonders how long it was before they had this machine up and running again. Looking at the shot you would imagine some serious damage has been done to the offside boom lift ram!
