The oil-free crane
The RTL195 from Moritsch Cranes is a traditional luffing jib tower crane with 16 tonnes maximum load capacity that, thanks to a patented mechanical jib locking device, allows the jib to be parked at 82° for any jib length, leading to a maximum out of service radius of 8m when jib is 55m. But unusually, Moritsch has come up with a mechanical solution that does away with hydraulics and associated oil-spill risks.
