We deliver this through technical excellence, specialist manufacturing and commitment to seamless service delivery and are proud to design, develop and manufacture our entire range of shoring and structural equipment in house.

Our extensive range of shoring products include box systems, walers and struts, bracing systems, trench sheets and sheet piles, concrete pipe and culvert equipment and our lightweight shoring range GRiPSHORE are available along with our supporting shoring safety products.

We have recently expanded our range of existing lifting products to encompass a wide selection of high-quality lifting equipment and continue to offer an extensive range of safety products ideal for confined space entry and working at height.

Our latest development is to branch into Structural Support Solutions, with simplicity in mind, our Unishore system offers load capacities of 20, 70 and 150 tonnes which are fully interconnectable for efficient design. Manufactured in house and developed in consultation with customers and experienced market specialists the Unishore range meets the demands of the construction industry.

Our Service

We provide national coverage through our network of 14 depots and our in-house transport fleet of over 65 vehicles gives us the flexibility to meet our customer’s needs. The hire and sale of our products is fully supported by our team of qualified engineers, experienced technical sales representatives, hire desk and operational staff. Our depots provide the focal point for service delivery, and we can provide international service for all our products from our depot locations across the UK.

We can offer support with all aspects of your requirements including:

• Site visits to provide advice and guidance

• Assistance in the production of a design brief

• Temporary Works Design solutions balancing practicability and safety

• Safe Systems of Work guidance for the installation of our products

• Provision of equipment demonstrations and training sessions

Depot Capabilities

Our service delivery ethos is focused solely on customer first. Key features of our Hire Centres are extensive fleet stock, modern handling equipment and dedicated transport ensuring operational efficiency. Our experienced hire desk staff are the focal point for provision of service to customers, offering quick and accurate responses to customer enquiries and co-ordinating all orders and off-hires with the relevant depot teams.

Our depots are equipped with modern handling equipment and specialist facilities for the inspection, maintenance, and testing of our products, ensuring our vital quality procedures are strictly adhered to. All our equipment is maintained to a specified, high standard when it is returned from site prior to its next use.

Engineering Design Services

Our Engineering Team comprises of over 28 qualified civil, structural, and mechanical engineers who produce over 3,600 temporary works designs per year, providing a comprehensive temporary works design service. We also offer a bespoke design service to support major projects, including basement propping and other large-scale excavations.

MGF have achieved Level 2 Supply Chain BIM Compliance and we are constantly striving to enhance our digital capability further through our in-house development team.

Manufacturing

We design and manufacture our core range of shoring products in-house to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 3 and BS EN ISO 3834-3 and our structural support solutions to Execution BS EN 1090 Class 3. Our in-house capability provides in depth product knowledge, flexibility to meet demand and the ability to undertake bespoke manufacture to meet customer requirements.

Transport

We operate our own transport fleet yielding logistical control and have recently achieved FORS (Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme) Silver level accreditation for our entire fleet and are now working towards Gold. We are also nearing full compliance with the CLOCS standard (Construction Logistics and Cyclist Safety).

Our partnership with the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) helps us to continually improve our lifting equipment capabilities and safety measures and along with our other awards, accreditations and memberships demonstrates our commitment to innovation in our products and services. This comprehensive approach is what ensures the health and safety of our customers, employees, and the communities in which we operate and will support the growth of our lifting range within the industry.

Testing and Inspection Service

As part of our new Lifting and Safety division, we now offer a testing and inspections service to fulfil the legal requirement that all lifting, safety and other work equipment be inspected on a periodic basis by a qualified person. To facilitate our testing and inspection service, our team of fully qualified technicians will visit your site or depot at your convenience.
