The highways team within the Council is responsible for a highway’s asset comprising over 4,343km of road. The Materials to be delivered under this framework are to facilitate highway maintenance works to repair potholes and worn-out carriageway and minor drainage and civil engineering works carried out by County’s in-house operations teams.

Data Sheets shall be provided for each of the products in the price list. The Data Sheets shall include the requirements for temperatures for storage and installation of the product. Recommended rates of spread shall also be provided. For HAPAS and Non-HAPAS Certified Instant Road Repair Materials, full details of technical performance are required including current aggregate properties, initial type test certificates, cohesion information for bond coats for all constituent materials. Rates to include all transport and handling charges associated with delivery, as well as all charges for collection of empty drums from various Depots located within the area of Westmorland and Furness Council as listed in Appendix A of the specification.
