£650/£750 per day outside IR35

6 Months+

UK based remote working patterns with limited travel to Europe

I have an immediate requirement for and Interim Finance Transition Manager to join a multi-billion turnover, international business to support its Finance transformation activity as it streamlines its multi-site operation into a global shared service centre. This role would suit a Midlands or London based candidate who is open to limited European travel.

My client is looking for an Interim candidate who can transition transactional accounting, month end and financial reporting from multiple international sites into their global shared service centre. They are ideally looking for a candidate who specialises within this space and can demonstrate multiple instances of complex, international finance transitions into SSC. You will have strong project management, organisational and communication skills with demonstrable experience of leading multi-level stakeholders through a complex finance transition process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive transition plans to ensure smooth execution of organizational changes.
  • Implement the transition plan, managing the day-to-day activities and tasks of the transition team.
  • Monitor the progress and performance of the transition, tracking the milestones, issues, and risks.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across various locations and departments to align objectives and priorities.
  • Manage resources effectively to meet transition objectives within established time-lines and budgets.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Implement change management strategies to facilitate successful transition.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the transition process.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience of complex global finance transformation.
  • Demonstrable experience of transitioning multi-entity finance streams into an SSC.
  • Delivery of project management methodologies and relevant qualifications.
  • Multi-level stakeholder management experience.
  • Autonomous self-starter.
