Job Title: Supervisor

Working between Grimsby and Boston.

General Overview:

Assist the Responsive Repairs Manager in the delivery of a high performing, effective and efficient Responsive Repairs and Maintenance Service including the monitoring of a team of Trade Operatives and Sub-Contractors.
Responsible for the supervision of a team of trade operatives and sub-contractors delivering a wide range of responsive and reactive maintenance jobs/projects. Responsible for the efficient use of resources and ensuring that, job planning, appointments, resource allocation, materials, plant and equipment are effectively utilised and continuously improved in accordance with service delivery targets. The Contract Delivery Supervisor is also responsible for bringing to the attention of the Responsive Repairs Manager any arrangements/proposals that will improve job control, operational performance, relationships with Clients representatives and maximise the utilisation of the Company's IT system.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

· Higher National Certificate in Building Studies or equivalent experience

· Scaffold Inspection (Desirable)

· First Aid at Work (Desirable)

· Gas Safety Awareness

· Asbestos Awareness (Desirable)

· Safe Working at Height (Desirable)

· SMSTS/SSSTS (Desirable)

· City and Guilds Trade qualification (Desirable)

· Microsoft Office or other relevant IT related qualification (Desirable)

· Current valid driving license

Impact:

The Supervisor role plays a crucial role within the repairs function providing essential first line management to trade operatives. Supervisors budgetary responsibilities are accountable in terms of driving production and costs to efficient levels.
