Civil Design Engineer or Experienced Graduate Civil Engineer - Development Infrastructure - Highways, Drainage, Earthworks - Permanent - Full Time

We're looking for a Civil Design Engineer, or an Experienced Graduate Civil Engineer, with a few years of experience, in Birmingham!

This is an ideal role for someone with a few years of experience at a UK engineering consultancy to take the next step up in their career, to work at a consultancy with an outstanding reputation.

Responsibilities:

• Multidisciplinary coordination with planners, architects/landscape architects, lighting and MEP engineers;
• Liaising with authorities for capacity checks and ensuring S106 sewer connection and S185 sewer diversion applications are approved;
• Cut and fill, setting out and levels, drainage plotting, forward visibility and sight lines, long sections and vehicle tracking;
• Gaining technical approval from water and wastewater service providers for S104 drainage applications;
• Gaining technical approval for the S38 and S278 from local authorities;
• Providing complete drainage and highways design packages for current and proposed developments.

Requirements:

• A few years experience in the design of highways and drainage for developments;
• Experience using relevant software packages such as Civil 3D or PDS, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage/Causeway Flow.
