Our client is a leading contract management group working across a range of project sectors including building construction for projects valued over US$100m, power, civil infrastructure and Petro-chemical plants. They now have an urgent requirement for an MRICS qualified Claims Consultant with Quantity Surveying training to join them in their head office in Seoul, South Korea. You MUST be a U.K. national and you should have good all round claims management, contract writing, quantity surveying and contracts administration experience gained over at least twenty years with experience of projects valued at over 100m US Dollars. The ideal candidate will have worked as a Claims Consultant across more than one of the above sectors and have demonstrable skills and experience in claims management, claims strategy, dispute prevention and resolution (litigation, arbitration, mediation and adjudication). You must also be capable and experience in the production of quality claims document writing and preparation and have previous FIDIC contract experience. You will need to have gained experience of international construction / engineering projects and ideally also have a relevant Degree as well as being MRICS qualified plus possibly have a further Construction Law or Diploma in construction Law or similar if possible. Our client will provide accommodation, bus transport in the morning, a food allowance of US$400 per month, 14 day leave every 4 months, round trip airfare for employees only, contribution towards health insurance and pension, one month salary as bonus. This role is initially for a two year period which is extendible. Single status is preferred however married will certainly be considered.
