As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely under the guidance of a Senior Quantity Surveyor. Here's what you can expect from the role:

  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of tender documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Supporting in the procurement process, including obtaining quotes, negotiating prices, and managing supplier contracts.
  • Assisting with cost analysis and cost control throughout the project lifecycle, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Handling documentation such as contracts, change orders, and payment certificates, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Conducting site visits and liaising with project teams to gather relevant information for cost reporting and progress monitoring.
  • Assisting in the preparation of interim and final valuations, verifying work completed and assessing variations.
  • Utilising industry-standard software for quantity surveying tasks.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
