Job Description
My client are looking for an electrician on a permanent basis to work on social housing projects in Durham.
This role will provide an effective service through the installation, maintenance and repair works of electrical systems across a range of domestic and commercial settings. You will be provided with a company van
- Working as part of a squad delivering high volume minor works for social housing providers and local authorities. Installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with current Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations. Install, repair, inspect and test electrical installations and complete correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report. Diagnose and repair electrical problems on domestic electrical systems, including fault finding, and rewiring. Undertake jobs as directed on company subscribed software. Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
Essential Skills:
- Qualified to BS7671 18th edition (amendment 2) and C&G 2391 testing inspection Ecs Gold Card 2+ years of experience preferred Previous experience in social housing preferred but not essential Be able to work as part of a team Full UK Driving Licence Good writing and presentation skills Able to use MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
