Service Engineer

Job Description

Catfoss Recruitment Ltd are currently in partnership with a well-established Specialist Engineering Service Company that is looking to recruit a Service Engineer to their expanding team on a permanent basis. You will ideally be located in the home counties, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire or around the outside of the M25.

Service Engineer - Main roles & responsibilities:

* Undertaking service, maintenance and installation of Fire Pump drivers and controls on customers premises (These are predominately Diesel engines and 3 phase motor driven centrifugal pumps
* Working on Diesel Pumps, DC Electrics, AC Electrics and AC motors and controls
* Manage mechanical and electrical faults

Person Specification

* Knowledge of Diesel Engines
* Previous commercial experience working on fire pumps or similar equipment
* Electrical qualifications desired but not essential
* Self-motivation and the ability to logically approach mechanical and electrical faults must be evident
* Full UK driving License
* CSCS Card
