Technical Support Engineer

Are you currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer position? If so, our client based in Pudsey is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their team with a salary of £25,000 - 35,000 (plus bonuses) on offer. This opportunity will be working Monday to Friday during regular business hours on your own and/or alongside others.

What Does the Role Entail?

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical assistance to both customers and colleagues. Your duties will include assisting in the launch of new products, offering technical improvements to existing products, providing drawings and technical information for production, and supporting various departments with CAD services. You will ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.

What Skills Will You Have?

The ideal Technical Support Engineer should have a strong customer focus, backed by a Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent. Essential skills include proficiency in SolidWorks and 3D modelling/rendering, with meticulous attention to detail in engineering tasks. Effective communication, teamwork, and task prioritisation are essential, along with a proven track record in technical support. Candidates should stay updated on modern engineering processes, be self-motivated, proficient in MS Office, punctual, and eager to learn. Desired skills include B2B sales experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, drawing engineering parts, familiarity with Visualise software, and using MS Teams and CRM tools.
