6 Oct 23 Burmor Construction were finalists in the Social Housing Project of the Year category at the Structural Timber Awards 2023. Our site on California Road in Huntingdon garnered attention for delivering on affordability, sustainability, and accessibility and on the night we were proudly the winners of not one, but two awards.

Joined by client, Longhurst Group, Carpenters, Twigden Kaye, Architect, DT Architects, and timber frame manufacturer, LoCal Homes, Burmor scooped the trophy for Social Housing Project of the Year and Timber Frame Project of the Year.

Well done to the project team for their hard work; we are pleased to be delivering and contributing 56 new homes to the Huntingdonshire District Councils drive for more affordable homes in the district.
