BAM Construction has been targeted by fraudsters in an identity theft scam.
A number of individuals have received letters claiming to offer jobs at the company, and demanding identity information, including passport copies and photographs.
A statement from BAM said: “BAM has become aware that fraudsters are targeting individuals with fake job offers purporting to come from us.
“BAM has become aware that fraudsters are targeting individuals with fake job offers purporting to come from us. The letter or email with the job offer asks you to send four colour passport photographs, a photocopy of your passport and a copy of your CV and other information about your identity.
“Please note that BAM does not recruit in this way. We advise you not to reply to such letters or emails or to give out any personal information."
