Take Two.... The second of The Construction Index sea fishing trips, was somewhat harder than the first! Winds of 5-6 occasional 7, created some big waves, at times it was hard to keep on your feet! Lots of very large mackerel around, the conditions and fishing was a real challenge. Due to this not many pictures this time. Paul Breen from SRP Toilet Hire stood fast in the rain, crashing waves bringing in some of the biggest Mackerel of the day.
A move to calmer conditions was in order.... The afternoon got off to a scream, literally the first of our sharks was on the run.. "It was like a freight train". Sometime later...... all 5.6ft was on board, weighing in at 43lbs. Caught by Paul Buist Managing Director The Construction Index.
We were then treated to a second soon after, coming in at just over 5ft, weight 35lbs, caught by Paul Buist Senior CDM Co-ordinator of Davis Langdon LLP. (Above)
