Multiplex has won a High Court action against former steelwork sub contractor Cleveland Bridge and has today been awarded almost £8 million over problems on the construction of the new Wembley stadium.
Following a seven month trial judge Justice Jackson handed down his judgement in Multiplex's favour ordering CBUK to pay the Australian company damages of £6,154,246.
He also ruled that they pay 20 per cent of Multiplex's legal costs - which is estimated at £1.75 million.
