Most powerful rotary hammers in their class with 850 Watts of power
World’s first SDS-plus rotary hammers with active vibration damping - reduces vibration by nearly 30 percent
28mm drilling capacity
Bosch is launching a new rotary hammer generation with two new models: the GBH 2-28 DFV Professional and GBH 2-28 DV Professional. Replacing the GBH 2-26 DFR/ DRE Professional, the new models offer 50 watts more power and 20 percent more impact energy and remain the most powerful rotary hammers in their class.
Vibration levels have been reduced by nearly 30 percent with the introduction of active vibration damping: a counter balancer positioned in the gear housing counteracts the air and mass forces from the hammer mechanism, reducing the vibration levels from 15 m/s2 to 11 m/s2.As a result, professional tradesmen can work with these tools for nearly twice as long as before.
High-powered tools for all finishing and installation trades

These tools have an impact energy of 3.2 joules and offer the highest drilling and chiselling performance in their class. It is just as easy to cut slots and channels to fit cabling or ducting as it is to drill rows of holes.
Other features of both models include continuously variable speed control for clean drilling starts, a rotating brush plate for equal power in forward and reverse rotation, a rotation stop for chiselling applications, a ball grommet to prevent cable breaks, and an SDS-plus tool holder. The GBH 2-28 DFV Professional comes with a quick change chuck whereas the GBH 2-28 DV Professional has a fixed chuck.
The rotary hammers GBH 2-28 DFV Professional and GBH 2-28 DV Professional will be available from Bosch stockists from 1st July 2011 at the following suggested selling prices:
GBH 2-28 DV Professional (L-Boxx) £172.00 ex VAT£206.40 inc VAT
GBH 2-28 DFV Professional (L-Boxx) £199.00 ex VAT£238.80 inc VAT
