Manhattan Loft Gardens is a 143-metre high tower to be built in Stratford for London property developer Manhattan Loft Corporation. The project has a gross development value of £250m.

Manhattan Loft Gardens is being built next to Stratford International railway station. It has been designed by architect Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). The building’s concrete and steel frame supports two massive cantilevers that support three ‘sky gardens’ giving views across London. It will house 248 apartments above a 150-room hotel, a spa, a triple-height lobby and two restaurants.

The works began earlier this year and are scheduled to be completed in spring 2018.

Harry Handelsman, founder and CEO of Manhattan Loft Corporation, said: “Our appointment of Bouygues, with its vast international knowledge and experience of high-rise luxury developments, will add to our already top class project team. Manhattan Loft Gardens will continue the Olympic legacy by becoming Europe’s most exciting residential/hotel tower, thus confirming Stratford as one of the emerging prime residential, commercial and cultural hubs of London.”

Madani Sow, deputy CEO of Bouygues Bâtiment International, added: “Manhattan Loft Gardens, developed by Harry Handelsman, will give its future residents a unique experience of London. Bouygues UK teams will be fully committed to turning this innovative vision into reality. Technical prowess and architectural quality will combine to produce a building that will be greatly appreciated by its future users.”
