Chile announces $510m rebuild for wildfire-hit Valparaiso

The programme will fund repairs to the homes of some 2,600 affected families as well as work to reduce future risk and strengthen the capabilities of emergency services.

Some 71% of the money allocated under the eight-year plan will be spent between now and 2018.
